Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant system architectures
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks for real-world problem-solving
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate theoretical models into functional quantum prototypes
- Secure patents and intellectual property for quantum computing innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Publication record in quantum computing research or equivalent industry achievements
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ) or simulators
- Strong analytical skills with ability to solve complex mathematical problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and presentations
