Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error correction protocols for qubit stability
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning applications
- Translate theoretical models into functional quantum circuits using Qiskit and Cirq
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles
- Secure research funding through grant proposals and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (QASM, Quil)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Experience with quantum simulators (IBM Quantum Experience, Google Cirq)
- Publication record in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Expertise in Python and high-performance computing frameworks
