Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Design and execute quantum circuit simulations on high-performance computing clusters
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum processor performance
- Lead peer-reviewed research publications and present findings at international conferences
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum information science or equivalent
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Proficiency in Python and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical implementations
