Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Implement and optimize quantum error correction techniques on superconducting qubits
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects with hardware and software teams
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Secure and manage high-value quantum computing research grants
- Mentor junior scientists and foster a collaborative innovation ecosystem
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or top-tier conferences
- Proficiency with quantum computing platforms (Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF/DOE/DARPA preferred)
