Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead research initiatives in error correction and quantum supremacy
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit stability
- Publish findings in leading journals and present at international conferences
- Develop patentable quantum solutions for industry partners
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education programs
- Stay current with emerging quantum frameworks and cloud platforms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications
- Familiarity with NISQ-era hardware constraints and mitigations
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Exceptional problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills
