Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in logistics and drug discovery
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists to prototype quantum solutions
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at industry conferences
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards for 2026 infrastructure
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through internal hackathons
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of industry experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Track record of securing research grants or patents in quantum technologies
