Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography, AI, and materials science
- Develop error-correction techniques to advance quantum coherence and scalability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype quantum processors and validate theoretical models
- Lead interdisciplinary research initiatives bridging quantum physics and machine learning
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum circuit design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical Python/Matlab
- Strong background in linear algebra, statistical mechanics, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to publish high-impact research in quantum computing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ) preferred
