Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research projects in quantum error correction and qubit stabilization
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and secure government/industry grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit/Cirq/Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics
- Proficiency with Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing
