Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols in cryogenic systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Author peer-reviewed publications and whitepapers on quantum computational theory
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum principles and implementation strategies
- Secure research funding through NSF and DARPA proposal development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance architectures
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel systems
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation and readout
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models into experimental implementations
