Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Publish research in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing frameworks
- Secure external funding through grants and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (e.g., IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed research in quantum computing
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
