Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms and protocols for commercial applications
- Design and optimize quantum error correction systems for fault-tolerant computing
- Lead cross-functional research teams to prototype quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at industry conferences
- Collaborate with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
- Translate theoretical models into scalable quantum computing architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error mitigation
- Experience with NISQ-era hardware platforms
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex systems theory
