Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead prototyping of quantum hardware components in cryogenic environments
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science/IEEE)
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Secure $2M+ in government and private research grants
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Present findings at global tech summits including Davos and CES
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum circuit design experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mechanisms
- Track record of securing federal research grants (NSF/DOE)
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
