Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and molecular simulation
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum processors
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-resistant security protocols
- Drive 2026 roadmap for quantum advantage in AI and financial modeling
- Mentor PhD candidates and secure $5M+ in DARPA/NSF grants annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit design using Qiskit/Cirq
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Track record of securing government research grants
