Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications in optimization, simulation, and machine learning
- Lead breakthrough research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge theoretical quantum concepts with physical implementations
- Publish high-impact research in leading scientific journals and present at global quantum computing conferences
- Mentor cross-functional teams of physicists, computer scientists, and engineers
- Develop quantum software frameworks that will become industry standards by 2026
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and intellectual property
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and complex systems theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper, OpenQASM) and classical languages (Python, C++)
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE Quantum) on quantum algorithms
