Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum error correction techniques
- Secure $2M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA quantum initiatives
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum machine learning methodologies
- Develop patentable IP for quantum acceleration in drug discovery simulations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithm design or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
