Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop advanced error-correction techniques to enhance qubit stability
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols using IBM Quantum and D-Wave systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processor architectures
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE QCE
- Secure $1M+ in government and industry research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum simulation tools
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and fault-tolerance methods
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware interfaces
- Strong Python/C++ programming with scientific computing libraries
