Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen quantum processors
- Secure $5M+ in R&D grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Author breakthrough publications in Nature Physics and Science journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering (2020-2026)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum hardware experience with superconducting qubits
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Published record in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
- Expertise in topological quantum computing models
