Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to improve qubit stability and error correction protocols
- Lead research projects on quantum supremacy applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with emerging 2026 quantum hardware standards
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms and quantum error correction
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Expertise in at least one classical programming language (Python, C++, or Rust)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
