Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex problem-solving in cryptography and optimization
- Develop error-corrected qubit systems with 99.9% fidelity targets
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen quantum processors
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry grants for 2026 initiatives
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Published research in Nature/Science journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface/colour codes)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Clearance for DOE/NIST collaborative projects
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
