Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with 1000+ qubit coherence
- Design error-corrected quantum processors operating at room temperature
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum chip specifications
- Research novel quantum materials for fault-tolerant computing
- Document system architectures and quantum security protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum computing architectures or high-performance systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong background in superconducting circuits or trapped-ion systems
- Published research in quantum computing or related top-tier journals
