Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum-safe infrastructure using superconducting qubit arrays
- Implement error correction protocols for quantum computing clusters
- Integrate quantum accelerators with classical HPC systems
- Develop photonic interconnects for quantum network topologies
- Optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware limitations
- Lead security audits of quantum communication channels
- Document quantum system architectures for regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit simulation frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and dilution refrigerators
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Knowledge of quantum-resistant cryptography standards (NIST PQC)
- Strong background in distributed systems and network protocols
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Security clearance eligibility (Level 3+)
