Responsibilities
- Design and deploy hybrid quantum-classical computing infrastructure for enterprise clients
- Lead quantum network architecture using photonic interconnects and cryogenic control systems
- Develop fault-tolerance protocols for 1000+ qubit processors
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on quantum error correction research
- Establish security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography migration
- Mentor 8-person quantum engineering team in Austin lab
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum computing infrastructure development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Published research in Nature/Science journals preferred
- Experience with superconducting qubit fabrication processes
