Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum communication networks with >99.9% fidelity across continental US infrastructure
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical computing systems using hybrid architecture frameworks
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations at scale
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype quantum-resistant encryption standards for 2026 deployment
- Oversee deployment of cryogenic quantum processors in edge computing environments
- Establish quantum security frameworks compliant with NIST post-quantum cryptography standards
- Mentor cross-functional teams on quantum principles and implementation best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction algorithms (surface/colour codes)
- Deep knowledge of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Certification in cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Experience with high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Published research in quantum information science or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in Python/C++ for quantum simulation and control systems
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum material science
