Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency patients across all age groups
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform diagnostic procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and preventive care
- Respond effectively to critical situations using advanced life support techniques
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years ED experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications mandatory
- Minimum 2 years emergency department nursing experience
- Strong assessment skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
