Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ER, ICU, and general surgery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide patient education and emotional support to promote wellness and recovery
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
- Mentor new nurses and contribute to team development programs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS or TNCC preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in hospital setting
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (EPIC a plus)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
