Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care in accordance with clinical protocols and standards
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance, safety regulations, and hospital policies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous education
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and critical patient events
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (required)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
