Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Node.js, Python, or Go.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, design) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure code quality, performance, and security standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure high system availability and uptime.
- Participate in architectural discussions and technology selection for new projects.
- Optimize database queries and improve overall application responsiveness.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team best practices.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
