Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native architectures using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Lead migration projects from legacy systems to scalable cloud environments
- Optimize infrastructure costs through automated monitoring and resource allocation
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to maintain 99.99% system uptime SLAs
- Develop security frameworks and compliance protocols for multi-cloud deployments
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Contribute to open-source projects and present at industry conferences
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS/GCP infrastructure services
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong proficiency in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash)
- Previous experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent Google Cloud certification
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex migration projects from conception to completion
