Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Lead Kubernetes orchestration and CI/CD pipeline optimization for microservices architecture
- Conduct security audits and implement compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct weekly architecture design reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize cloud spend while maintaining 99.99% system availability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/GCP certification
- Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash)
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Previous experience mentoring technical teams of 3+ engineers
