Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud environments for security, cost, and performance while maintaining 99.9% uptime
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural workshops
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into scalable cloud architectures
- Implement monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Contribute to cloud migration strategies for Fortune 500 clients
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/GCP certification
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong background in network security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Experience with microservices architecture and serverless technologies
- Demonstrable success in optimizing cloud spend (FinOps principles)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design experience
