Responsibilities
- Design scalable AWS/Azure architectures for federal cloud migration projects
- Lead security compliance implementation (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53)
- Collaborate with government stakeholders on technical requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance SLAs
- Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform
- Present technical strategies to executive leadership
Qualifications
- 8+ years cloud architecture experience with AWS/Azure
- Federal government IT security clearance eligibility
- Certifications: AWS/Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CISSP
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless technologies
- Experience with federal procurement processes (FAR/DFARS)
- Strong background in high-availability distributed systems
- Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
