Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into executable business strategies
- Produce high-impact reports and visualizations for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, tech incubators, and global research networks
- Monitor geopolitical shifts, technological disruptions, and socioeconomic indicators affecting 2026 landscapes
- Mentor junior futurists and guide innovation sprints with product development teams
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, Delphi techniques, and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Portfolio of published foresight research or thought leadership pieces
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and strategic modeling software
