Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead high-impact workshops with C-suite executives to align organizational vision with emerging technologies
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech) for commercial integration
- Author annual 'State of 2026' industry reports positioning Innovate 2026 as thought leadership
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio funding moonshot projects with 2026 commercialization targets
- Mentor junior futurists while establishing university partnerships for talent pipeline development
- Present findings at global forums including Davos and World Economic Future Summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating technological trends into billion-dollar market opportunities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier industry publications
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex multi-year transformation initiatives
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
