Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to map emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop quantitative future scenario models using predictive analytics and machine learning frameworks
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype disruptive solutions for climate resilience and human augmentation
- Author executive briefings on paradigm shifts in quantum computing, neurotech, and decentralized systems
- Establish global foresight networks with academic institutions and policy think tanks
- Drive innovation pipeline prioritization based on 5-10 year strategic horizons
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies and trend synthesis
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into enterprise-level strategy execution
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and scenario planning frameworks
- Proficiency in AI-driven trend analysis tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trendalyzer) and data visualization platforms
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI trajectories)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futures journals or industry whitepapers
- Exceptional cross-cultural communication skills for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three major future-shaping initiatives implemented in the past 5 years
