Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Develop predictive models and scenario planning for high-impact uncertainties
- Translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking across departments
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Advanced degree in strategic foresight, futures studies, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Shell, Delphi)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP preferred)
