Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts affecting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop quantitative and qualitative foresight models using advanced data analytics and scenario planning methodologies
- Produce executive-ready trend briefings and strategic roadmaps translating complex future projections into actionable business priorities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and leadership teams to embed foresight into organizational DNA
- Establish and maintain expert networks with thought leaders in emerging fields like quantum computing, bio-integration, and AI ethics
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations positioning Horizon Dynamics as the future-shaping authority
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, Data Science, or related quantitative/strategic field
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, trend analysis, or innovation consulting at Fortune 500 or tech scale-up
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Exceptional command of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling techniques
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Published thought leadership or patents in future-oriented domains
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight certification programs)
