Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Technology Foresight Framework, identifying disruptive trends across quantum computing, bio-engineering, and climate-tech
- Lead strategic innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present visionary roadmaps to C-suite and investors, translating complex scenarios into compelling business cases
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) and research consortia
- Curate Horizon's annual 'FutureState Summit' featuring industry-defining thought leadership
- Mentor junior futurists and build a high-impact foresight analytics team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
