Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year foresight initiatives identifying disruptive trends impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for enterprise innovation and risk mitigation
- Design and facilitate executive workshops on future-proofing business models
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight insights into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Establish quantitative/qualitative frameworks for trend validation and impact assessment
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry symposiums
- Mentor junior strategists and build cross-functional innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record of developing enterprise-level future scenarios
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (white papers, books)
- Experience with foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, backcasting)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation initiatives from foresight
