Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps with quantifiable ROI projections for C-suite stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams to embed foresight into development cycles
- Author high-impact thought leadership reports and represent FutureWorks at Davos, CES, and industry summits
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic partners
- Oversee the implementation of emerging tech pilots (AI ethics, quantum computing, bio-integration)
- Champion sustainability and ethical innovation frameworks across all strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in corporate innovation, strategic foresight, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., Shell Scenarios, Horizon Scanning) preferred
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals or industry publications
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives with measurable market impact
