Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and circular economy principles
- Champion cross-functional R&D projects with 20+ technical and business teams
- Present strategic foresight to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish industry partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other innovation hubs
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and technological uncertainty
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through pilot programs and ROI analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or technology foresight with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Systems Engineering, Futures Studies, or equivalent technical field
- Proven track record in scaling exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis platforms
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston
