Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster collaborative ideation and scenario planning
- Present futuristic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Curate thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes, podcasts)
- Maintain foresight ecosystem through trend intelligence networks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record developing future scenarios for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, biotech innovation, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation initiatives
