Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology, social, and economic trends to forecast 2026+ market shifts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for organizational resilience and competitive advantage
- Lead ideation workshops to generate breakthrough innovation concepts
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of industry futurists and thought leaders
- Author white papers on emerging technologies and their societal impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking capabilities
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformations
- Advanced degree in relevant field (e.g., Futures Studies, Systems Engineering)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies preferred
