Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year impact
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable initiatives
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions in emerging domains (AI ethics, quantum computing, etc.)
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and academic thought leaders
- Drive organizational culture of innovation through thought leadership programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (whitepapers, books, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation initiatives
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
