Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight framework using trend analysis, horizon scanning, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their market implications
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive briefings translating complex trends into strategic priorities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer next-generation solutions
- Design and implement innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term corporate vision
- Mentor junior futurists and foster a culture of strategic curiosity across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their societal/economic impacts
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience delivering to executive audiences
- Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
