Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging tech concepts (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Author strategic white papers and executive briefings on disruptive market shifts and competitive positioning
- Establish and nurture partnerships with academic institutions, venture capital firms, and government innovation labs
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops for C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor global patent landscapes and regulatory developments affecting emerging technologies
- Build and mentor a team of junior futurists and innovation analysts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in corporate innovation, R&D strategy, or futurism with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate technological and social trends
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
