Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Produce executive-level foresight reports and scenario-planning frameworks
- Partner with C-suite to translate future insights into actionable business initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D and product teams
- Represent company at global futurist forums and technology summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build future-focused capabilities across departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Strong data modeling and scenario-planning methodology skills
- Published thought leadership in futurist or tech publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on long-term strategy
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020-2025 technology trend accuracy
