Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Develop scenario-planning models for 2030+ technological and societal transformations
- Produce executive-level strategic briefings and innovation roadmaps
- Manage cross-functional workshops with global stakeholders
- Author thought leadership publications and conference presentations
- Guide R&D portfolio allocation based on future viability assessments
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or R&D innovation roles
- Expertise in scenario planning and quantitative trend analysis
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies
- Experience with Delphi methods, horizon scanning, and weak signal detection
- Strong network with academic futurists and tech innovation labs
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts
