Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast 2026+ scenarios
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future opportunities and risks
- Produce high-impact trend reports and innovation briefs for board-level presentations
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-oriented solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish early-warning systems for emerging threats and competitive disruptions
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and storytelling abilities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, Business Strategy, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi method, backcasting)
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing trajectories
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
