Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast market shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic scenarios and innovation roadmaps for product development teams
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-facing initiatives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive threats and opportunities
- Design and implement foresight methodologies across the organization
- Present future insights to executive leadership and external partners
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking and analytical frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of emerging tech ecosystems and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
