Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and scenario planning techniques
- Lead workshops on emerging tech trends (quantum computing, bio-integrated systems, neuro-interfaces)
- Produce white papers and executive briefings on disruptive technologies' market implications
- Partner with R&D to prototype 2026-viable solutions in our innovation labs
- Establish ethical guardrails for next-gen AI and autonomous systems deployment
- Represent company at global tech summits and futurist conferences
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Published thought leadership in futurist or tech ethics publications
- Proven track record translating future scenarios into executable business plans
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, SFI)
- Experience with agile product development and stakeholder management
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused projects with measurable outcomes
